Raid Night Suggestion.

After todays hiccups of trying to get a raid sorted i would like to suggest a plan of attack to save a bit of time and gameplay by making raid nights more organised.

What i think would work is having a thread for Raids seperate, and having all the raid nights posted in there. A way it could be done is haveing a raid organiser or two who are moderators on the forums, who can unlock/lock threads and who has plently of ingame instance experiance to post the dates that the raids are going to begin, what time they begin, where to meet and the finish time. This info could be posted 3-4 days in advance to give kinny members time to sign up and plenty of notice.
For Example:

Barrow Downs Raid: 22/05/07 (The Subject)

START TIME 7.00pm GMT
FINISH TIME 8.00pm GMT (Obviously the raid could finish at any time befor that but if its not going to plan [dieing all the time] and it gets to the finish time it ends)

Then if the kinship members that want to take part could post something as a reply such as RAID READY! or if they can only make some of the raid RAID READY: 7.00-7.30
then that will give some idea of how many people are going to attened on that day. there is no need to post a reply in the topic that you cant go because that just causes hassle. such as (IM GOING OUT)

Also the raid organiser should post all the information 3-4 days befor the raid date and see if there is enough people attending 1 day befor it starts and then either ...

Change the threads subject to (for example)
Barrow Downs Raid: 22/05/07 [CANCELED]
Or...
Barrow Downs Raid: 22/05/07 [10 MEMBERS]

This i think would make the raid thing alot more organised in the kinship and also make members sign up to the forum and get them involved. if some kinship members who dont post on here RAID READY then no matter what they cannot participate in the raid.

Post what you think of my idea. its something i think we need to work on and get sorted soon.

it is prob worth postind details of the raid on the "message of the day" that way every one who logs on sees it

Yeh agree with ya i think that should be done too, but also the forum addy needs to be on the motd for the new members
